Dec. 4—CoActiv of Ridgefield, Conn., showed Exam-RIS and Exam-PACS, which are fully web-based at the 93rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last week.

Exam-RIS is integrated with Exam-PACS and includes single and multi-site scheduling, multi-site billing, information and charting (EMR), document scanning, web-based dictation, transcription, exam report templating, auto report distribution, billing, custom management reports, voice recognition integration, modality worklist and HL7 integration with hospital information systems, billing and other applications

CoActiv’s Exam-PACS incorporates paperless features and scans and attaches paperworks to digital exams for instant review in both the CoActiv’s Exam-Console and Exam-Viewer windows. Built-in Exam-PACS software supports scanning with any Twain compliant single- or multi-sheet scanner.
