CompuMed, a medical informatics company, has named Manning H. Phillips as director of sales and marketing. With over 16 years of experience in the digital medical imaging field Phillips is now responsible for CompuMed’s global sales efforts, with a focus on the company’s OsteoGram products for screening, diagnosing and monitoring osteoporosis. Phillips most recently served as business development manager of radiology and telemedicine markets for VIDAR Systems where he was responsible for more than 400 percent growth in the North American and Asia Pacific markets relating to OEM and integrator sales. Prior to VIDAR, he held positions with EMED, the PACS Division of Raytheon; Polaroid Medical Systems; and GE Medical Systems.
