CompuMed shows Q3 sales gain
Medical informatics device and services provider CompuMed reported an increase in fiscal 2007 third quarter revenues, but also a rise in net losses for the period (end-June 30).

The Los Angeles-based firm stated third quarter revenues of $590,000, a 23.4 percent increase over the $478,000 in revenues posted for the same period last year. However, the company saw net losses rise to $176,000, a 35.4 percent increase compared with the $130,000 in net losses booked for the fiscal 2006 third quarter.

CompuMed said the increase in net losses was primarily due to the expensing of employee stock options.
