Confirma, developer of CADstream and market leader in computer-aided-detection (CAD) for breast MRI, announced today that it has appointed Nick Dykstra as Chief Financial Officer.

"Nick is a significant addition to our executive team," said Wayne Wager, president and CEO of Confirma. "Nick has a distinguished track record in operational financial management combined with broad corporate development experience. He will make significant contributions during Confirma's next phase of corporate growth as we further extend our role as the CAD market leader."

Prior to joining Confirma, Dykstra was executive vice president and director of Panlabs International, a pharmaceutical research company. He worked with Panlabs from its inception in 1983 until its acquisition by the Toronto-based health sciences company, MDS, in 1995. Dykstra remained at MDS as a financial and corporate development executive during the establishment and expansion of its Pharma Services Division. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co, New York and holds a B.S.from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington.
