Connect Imaging inks joint development agreement with Ashva
PACS vendor Connect Imaging Inc. recently inked a joint development agreement with Ashva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a provider of healthcare information technology solutions in India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Connect Imaging will develop applications specific to the United States imaging marketplace for Ashva Technologies' business flow software. In turn, Ashva Technologies will develop advanced features for use in new modules in Connect Imaging's expanding modular PACS product line.
According to Philip J. Manly, DABR, chief executive officer of Connect Imaging, the goal in partnering with Ashva Technologies is to enhance Connect's abilities in installations involving complex workflow and image distribution.
Connect also will develop applications for Ashva Technologies' business flow management software geared to the U.S. market, including applications designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs by helping imaging departments become paperless and filmless.
