Connecticut launches electronic records network
Gov. M. Jodi Rell (R), Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.) and a statewide healthcare coalition announced the launch of eHealth Connecticut last week, a health records network that will allow providers to share information electronically, according to the AP/Washington Post.

A pilot program later this year will begin to electronically gather and exchange outpatient records from three clinics and two hospitals. The pilot should help officials develop the statewide system, slated for operation within the next two years.
