ContextVision featured at RSNA 2006 its new 3D-GOP application that is designed to advance digital image enhancement. 3D-GOP’s sophisticated algorithms offer significant image enhancement improvements, as all clinical structures that are extended in three dimensions. The technology uses data from three dimensions in the processing of each voxel, resulting in a truer depiction of the real imaged tissue/structure presented for the clinician.

The new ContextVision software has been in development for over two years, as a University collaborative research project, funded in part by the Swedish government, the company said. ContextVision also said it expects to launch 3D-GOP in late 2007 as a part of ContextVision’s Product Portfolio.
