ContextVision to form new interventional radiology OEM alliance
ContextVision has created a new OEM contract for the development of a revolutionary interventional radiology imaging technology scheduled to be announced later this year.

The OEM partnership will extend ContextVision’s successful GOPView product family servicing x-ray, CT and mammography to specifically meet the unique dosage and image quality requirements of interventional radiology, the company said.

“Interventional radiology is a new area for ContextVision where we see huge potential for our GOP technology,” said Jan Erik Hedborg, CEO of ContextVision. “This OEM partnership is a strategic contract for our future growth as we continue to introduce new imaging technology that changes the competitive landscape and improves patient care.”

ContextVision is an independent developer in medical imaging enhancement, analysis and processing technologies, serving leading OEMs and distributors for more than 20 years. Its patented GOP algorithm allows unprecedented image quality to be achieved by simultaneously enhancing fine structure while reducing noise and speckle across MRI, x-ray, ultrasound and CT image data, the company said.
