CRF appoints Himmelsbach as new president, CEO
The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) has appointed William A. Himmelsbach, FACHE, as the foundation's new president and CEO, as well as to its board of directors. He succeeds Marvin L. Woodall, who is retiring.

Prior to joining CRF, Himmelsbach was senior vice president at VHA and executive officer of its New York City-based VHA Empire-Metro. Before that, he held president and CEO positions at several hospitals and healthcare systems, including the Institute of Living in Hartford, Conn., Saint Mary's Health Services in Grand Rapids, Mich., Holy Cross Health System in South Bend, Ind., Detroit Receiving Hospital and University Health System in Detroit.
