Deep Breeze launches pulmonary imaging system
Deep Breeze, a pulmonary imaging medical device company, introduced the VRIxp lung imaging system to the U.S. market at the American College of Chest Physicians annual meeting this week in Chicago.

The VRIxp allows healthcare providers to see and monitor lung sounds without exposing the patient to radiation or an invasive procedure, according to the Israel-based Deep Breeze.

Current methods involve lung function tests together with ventilation and perfusion scans which include radiation and more costly, the company said.
