DeJarnette Research Systems is partnering with Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, to bring DeJarnette’s xDL Cross-Enterprise Document Librarian software to Avnet’s HealthPath value-added reseller (VAR) network in the United States.

The Towson, Md.-based DeJarnette said its standards-based xDL product provides a medical document management system that compartmentalizes the medical imaging domain knowledge. The vendor-neutral solution allows the end user to select the storage technology of their choice.

Through HealthPath, Avnet has developed an independent software vendor ecosystem for the healthcare technology market. Avnet said its HealthPath University provides an enablement and training curriculum for VARs.
