Hologic Inc. and Del Global Technologies Corp. have inked a licensing agreement for the production of direct-to-digital general radiography systems previously developed, manufactured and marketed by Hologic.

Hologic will license to Del Global's Medical Systems division the use of its technology, as well as the use of Hologic's Epex, Epex ER, DR1000C, Omniflex and Radex trademarks.

Hologic also will transfer manufacturing from Hologic's Bedford, Mass. facility to Del's facility in Chicago and provide ongoing service support functions in collaboration with Del. Del will utilize Hologic's DirectRay detector in the integrated systems.
