Del releases Gemini V flat-panel detectors
Del Global Technologies of Roselle, Ill., has launched the Gemini V series of digital flat-panel detectors as a field upgradeable retrofit.
According to Dennis Runyan, vice president of global sales and marketing at Del Medical Systems Group, the Gemini V flat panels allows customers the capability to enhance their existing equipment on site.
The Gemini V series consists of three detector options, all utilizing amorphous silicon technology, according to the company. The Gemini 1400V is a portable flat-panel detector that has the same dimensions of a standard 14- x 17-inch film cassette.
