Despite revenue gains, IDC posts overall loss in Q2
Canadian digital radiography (DR) equipment provider Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) yesterday reported revenue growth inQ2 2006 of 20 percent to approximately $ 7.9 million (USD) compared to revenues of $ 6.6 million (USD) in the same period in 2005.

Sales increased as demand for IDC's leading Xplorer series of digital x-ray systems continued, and as global shipments of the company's new Xaminer OEM series began, the IDC said, though delayed production of IDC's Xaminer during the quarter resulted in lower revenues and gross margins than expected is Q2.

However, IDC reported a net loss of $1,285,000 compared to net earnings of $1,004,000 for the same period in 2005.
