Dilon enters deal with MedAssets for gamma camera
Dilon Technologies has signed a three-year agreement with MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, a MedAssets company, to provide MedAssets’ customers access to the Dilon 6800 gamma camera. The agreement was effective June 1.

The Dilon 6800 performs a molecular breast imaging technique called breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI), which can detect lesions independent of tissue density and discover early stage cancers. BSGI serves as a complementary diagnostic adjunct procedure to mammography and ultrasound for difficult-to-diagnose patients, according to the Newport News, Va.-based Dilon.
