Dilon Technologies of Newport News, Va., and Naviscan PET Systems of San Diego have settled their lawsuit over Dilon's medical imaging equipment.

On May 24, 2007, Naviscan filed suit against Dilon in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California for possible patent infringement of six U.S. patents directed to technology for detecting breast cancer. The parties were able to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of Lon Slane, Dilon's president, and general coordinator of benefits, Bob Moussa, according to Dilon.

Dilon said that the parties are hopeful that joint cooperation will be part of their futures as they seek to advance the fight against breast cancer.
