DR Systems (Booth 4209) is exhibiting its Release 8.2 software for the Unity RIS/PACS platform at RSNA 2008. Among other innovations, Release 8.2 features critical results tracking, peer review, and DICOM structured reports.

Advanced system capabilities being displayed include a zero-download web browser-based clinical review application and operation of the Unity RIS/PACS in a virtualized server environment.

New application capabilities in Release 8.2 include: Critical Results, which tracks critical values and tests, audit timeliness of reporting results to responsible caregivers; Peer Review, which evaluates prior exam reports and diagnoses completed by other physicians in the practice; help educate and facilitate better quality interpretations; and DICOM Structured Reports, which automatically captures DICOM format data from the modality to the exam report.

The firm also is showcasing its CS Series Workstations, a full-range of Unity RIS/PACS software modules able to run on client-supplied hardware; as well as Multiple Volume Support, which provides greater system scalability while increasing data safety, configuration flexibility, and system availability.
