E-Z-EM, a developer of contrast and virtual colonoscopy accessories, has reported net sales of $138 million for its fiscal 2006, which is a record for the company and a rise of 22 percent compared to the $113 million in fiscal 2005. The fiscal year drew to a close on June 31.
   
The company reported net earnings of $9.8 million, compared to $6.9 million in 2005. Other results included Q4 sales of $37.1 million, representing a 16 percent uptick compared to sales of $32 million Q4 fiscal 2005.
   
Additionally, E-Z-EM saw Q4 net earnings of $1.34 million, up slightly from $1.33 million in the prior year.
