E-Z-EM has strong Q3 fiscal 2006
E-Z-EM Inc. saw an increase in sales and income in Q3 fiscal 2006, according to financial results released this week by the company.
The company saw net sales of $32.3 million, which compares favorably with $30.8 million in the third quarter in 2005. Net earnings were also up at $4.3 million, compared with $2.9 million in during the same period in fiscal 2005.
Highlights in the quarter that contributed to the financial picture included a 36 percent spike in CT injector systems, Department of Defense contracts, and growing acceptance of the efficacy of VoLumen in small bowel imaging and PET/CT, the company said.
