Edge Medical Devices has released a flat-panel direct radiography (DR) detector and universal retrofit kit.

The QuixFP-100 flat-panel digital detector with plasma DR Readout Technology provides a cost and performance advantage over thin-film transistor active matrix array-based detectors, according to the Raanana, Israel-based company.

The firm said the detector has regulatory approval and is packaged for OEMs, integrators and VARs as part of the Quix universal retrofit kit.
