Emageon upgrades PACS, introduces product developments
Dec. 4—Emageon announced a host of new product developments and enhancements at the 93rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last week.
The Birmingham, Ala.-based Emageon said its next generation PACS provides enterprise work lists for shared reading and workflow across sites including study status updates such as “STAT” “Read,” patient matching across ID domains and use of key images, and presentation states to improve remote viewing for referring physicians from their office, clinic or home by providing remote visualization with native visualization tools.
RadSuite Express offers affordable PACS performance and native 3D features that handle large multi-slice CTs for facilities going filmless for the first time or small to mid-size hospitals, clinics or imaging centers. The company also focused on enterprise services for specialty physicians and vendor neutral image sharing between multiple PACS.
