EMC acquires Berkeley Data Systems
EMC has acquired the American Fork, Utah-based Berkeley Data Systems, a provider of Mozy, an online information backup and recovery service.
The transaction will not have a material impact on EMC revenues or earnings per share for 2007, according to the Hopkinton, Mass-based EMC.
“We will continue to invest in Mozy’s full portfolio of online backup and recovery services and advance the Mozy brand in the marketplace,” said Tom Heiser, EMC’s senior vice president.
