The FDA has cleared Siemens Healthcare Mobilett Mira wireless digital x-ray system, which is now available in the U.S.

The system features a rotating swivel arm that moves vertically and rotates up to 90 degrees, which can enhance flexibility and access to patients, according to Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens. The system also includes an integrated drive to help navigate small spaces.

The Mobilett Mira can be maintained and updated via remote monitoring by Siemens Remote Services, Siemens said.
