Financial News: Allscripts has big Q3; Mercury Computer sees loss in fiscal Q1

Mercury Computer Systems reported results for Q1 fiscal 2007 with revenues of $48.9 million, down 27 percent from the previous year’s Q1. First-quarter GAAP operating losses were $13.7 million, and Q1 GAAP net losses were $11.7 million. First-quarter non-GAAP net losses were $3.5 million. 

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions announced total revenue for Q3 2006 of $62.2 million, compared to $30.6 million for the same period last year. Total revenue includes the impact of A4 Health Systems Inc., which Allscripts acquired in March. Also in Q3, the company’s revenue from software and related services was $49.5 million, compared to $16.5 million during the period in 2005, an increase of nearly 200 percent. Net income for the quarter was $3.3 million, compared to net income of $2.9 million for the same period last year.
