Open wireless network, security and management system provider Bluesocket reported record revenue for the fiscal year 2006 (ended on December 31, 2006) with a 60 percent increase in revenue in the fourth quarter versus the first quarter. In 2006, the company reported seeing steady, strong sales of its BlueSecure Controllers, while sales of its BlueSecure Access Points tripled over the previous year. In addition to signing on more than 110 new customers each quarter of 2006, Bluesocket penetrated new vertical markets such as hospitality and public access.


Eclipsys Corporation saw Q4 and year end 2006 revenues up $10.8 million to $115.9 million, compared to revenues of $105.1 million for the Q4 2005. On a GAAP basis, the Q4 2006 net income was $3.9 million compared to a net income of $5.0 million in 2005. For the year (ended December 31, 2006), revenues were $427.6 million. On a GAAP basis, net income for the year was $2.1 million.


Network Appliance reported fiscal 2007 Q3 results of $729.3 million, an increase of 36 percent compared to revenues of $537 million for the same period a year ago and an increase of 12 percent compared to $652.5 million in the prior quarter.

For the quarter, GAAP net income was $66.5 million compared to GAAP net income of $76.4 million for the same period in the prior year. Non-GAAP net income for Q3 increased 31 percent to $111.1 million, compared to non-GAAP net income of $84.7 million for the same period a year ago.

Revenues for the first nine months of the current fiscal year totaled $2.0 billion, compared to revenues of $1.47 billion for the first nine months of the prior year, an increase of 36 percent year over year, NetApp said.
