Florida hospital taps Toshiba for ED digital x-ray system
Health Central, a 171-bed acute care hospital in Ocoee, Fla., has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems’ Radrex-i DR x-ray system in its emergency department.

Radrex-i’s RexView LCD screen allows technologists to instantly view images at the system, which can reduce re-scans, according to Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba. The system also features auto-tracking, auto-collimation, auto-program and auto-center stop.

Health Central also utilizes Toshiba’s Aquilion 64 CT system and two Aplio MX ultrasound systems.
