Franklin & Seidelmann adds breast MR to subspecialty expertise
Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology (F&S) highlighted a recent addition to their subspecialty expertise offering, breast MR interpretation, during the 2007 RSNA conference in Chicago.

“We saw a lot of demand for breast MR interpretation,” said Christine Boehm, vice president, marketing, F&S. “With this new offering, our imaging clients are excited because it opens up the opportunity for additional reimbursement.” Boehm said the firm receives a couple of requests per week for breast MR reads.

Prior to the show, F&S added 31 subspecialty radiologists to its subspecialty teleradiology network including musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, breast and pediatric imaging specialists and neuroradiologists with Certificates of Added Qualification (CAQs).  Many on the team of more than 100 are industry experts and academic leaders, and collectively they have published more than 8,000 lectures and papers that have appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks, according to F&S.
