Fujifilm donates to cancer foundation
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) announced a collaboration last week with Fujifilm through which the company will support NBCF’s breast cancer education and programs that provide for the screening of underserved women. Fujifilm will give a monetary donation; donate digital mammography equipment; and participate in a cause-related marketing program supported by newly introduced pink-themed cameras.

Fujifilm will contribute $250,000 to NBCF and also will donate two of their world-leading digital mammography systems, Fuji Computed Radiography for Mammography (FCRm).  FCRm recently received FDA approval for sale in the United States.

In addition, Fujifilm will be providing NBCF with a donation from the sales of two new products – a pink FinePix Z3 digital camera, and a pink QuickSnap 800 Flash One-Time-Use Camera created to generate mammography awareness.
