GE Healthcare shows Q4 revenue growth
In unaudited results published this morning for its operating segments, GE reported that its Healthcare segment saw an uptick in revenues for its fiscal 2007 fourth quarter (end-Dec. 31) as well as its 2007 fiscal year.

For the fourth quarter, GE Healthcare saw revenues of $4.995 billion, a 6 percent increase compared with revenues of $4.7 billion for the same period in fiscal 2006. Its segment profit for the quarter was reported as $1.035 billion, a slight downturn from the segment profit of $1.083 billion reported for the same quarter last year.

For the 2007 fiscal year, GE Healthcare posted revenues of $16.997 billion, a 3 percent growth over the $16.56 billion shown for the operating segment’s 2006 fiscal year revenues. Profit for GE Healthcare’s past fiscal year was stated as $3.056 billion, a slight dip from the $3.142 billion posted for the 2006 fiscal year.
