GE Healthcare (formerly GE Medical Systems) has agreed to use Questra Corp.'s software to power its next generation of InSite remote device monitoring and diagnostic services.

Questra President and CEO Jim Gagnard said Questra intelligent device management (IDM) software integrated into GE Healthcare's devices "will deliver a proactive service offering that meets the needs of healthcare providers for patient privacy protection, maximum uptime and low maintenance cost."

John Chiminski, vice president of GE Healthcare Services, said the companies conducted "acceptance tests that simulated a network of thousands of instruments, and the Questra software performed at high speed and with outstanding accuracy."
