GE Healthcare IT has formed a global reseller agreement with Ormed Information Systems, which will allow GE to resell select applications in the Ormed portfolio, including supply chain management, e-commerce, human resources and general accounting software.

The companies said that the Alberta, Canada-based Ormed’s MIS software and its Ormed X e-commerce solutions can facilitate workflow and financial control in healthcare, by automating and integrating business processes in finance, business intelligence, supply chain and HR/payroll.

GE said that the agreement will also allow the companies to leverage shared distribution channels.
