GE's Centricity PACS adds third-party apps through new partnerships
GE Healthcare has formed technology agreements with peerVue and Meridian Technique that expand third party application integration for its Centricity PACS through Open Desktop, an enterprise-wide single access point for application and specialty tools integration.

An agreement with Sarasota, Fla.-based peerVue allows GE to resell and globally distribute peerVue’s qiVue PACS for regulatory, quality and communications as well as its caseVue content management system for teaching files to all current GE PACS users.

A distribution agreement with Hampshire, England-based Meridian Technique adds the latest version of OrthoView digital pre-operative planning solution as an option for Centricity PACS users in Europe, North America and Scandinavia. The latest version includes refinements and additions to its spine deformity assessment module as well as improved modules for joint replacement, fracture management, limb deformity correction, pediatric assessment and spine assessment, according to GE.
