Given Imaging, a Yoqneam, Israel-based developer of video-capsule endoscopy devices, reported a 20 percent increase in sales and a growth in net income in its unaudited fiscal 2007 second quarter (end-June 30) results.

For the period, worldwide sales revenue increased 20 percent to $27.8 million (U.S.) compared with the $23.2 million in revenue booked for the same period in 2006. The firm saw net income for the quarter grow to $623,000, compared with a net loss of $664,000 recorded in the second quarter of fiscal 2006.
