Graham-Field completes acquisition of Lumiscope
Graham-Field Health Products has completed the asset purchase of Lumiscope of Piscataway, N.J., a manufacturer and distributor of diagnostic devices, as well as respiratory, orthopedic supports, electrotherapy and thermometry products for hospitals, physicians and consumers.
Lumiscope will transition its customer service, quality assurance, engineering, technical support and repair departments, as well as warehousing and manufacturing to GF’s existing East Rutherford, N.J. complex, according to the Atlanta-based GF.
GF’s Lumiscope branch will be the responsibility of Ken Spett, GF’s senior vice president, medical-surgical division. Spett said the company will add the Luminscope staff to its 300 employees and the Lumiscope orthopedic support factory will add to GF’s two existing U.S. domestic manufacturing facilities in Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
