Grundig Business Systems digital products now support the thin clients from IGEL and Siemens Fujitsu at Linux 2.4 with Citrix infrastructures for application provision.
The support offers benefits for large networks, such as those in hospitals or public authorities require: increased data security, remote access to all functions of DigtaSoft, as well as central administration of the application, according to the Chicago-based company.
Grundig said that its specially developed DSS ICA channel transfers voice data to the central Citrix server at an optimized frequency range and minimizes the latency period. Dictating and playback take place using the dictation software DigtaSoft without delays, the company said.
