Dictation device and system developer Grundig Business Systems has launched three new starter kits in a bid to promote the use of digital dictation technology. The all-inclusive packages are aimed at mobile, desktop and transcription users, according to the Chicago-based firm.
The DigtaMobile Starter Kit includes the portable Digta 405 dictation machine and the hardware, software and licensing for transcription: the DigtaFootpedal 538 USB foot control, the DigtaStethoclip 518 USB headphones and the DigtaSoft PC application.
The DigtaDesktop Starter Kit is recommended for scenarios where the majority of dictations are office-based, Grundig said. It comprises the DigtaSonic xMic Classic, the DigtaFootpedal 538 USB foot control, the DigtaStethoclip 518 USB headphones and the DigtaSoft PC software, together with the relevant licenses.
The DigtaTranscription Starter Kit offers a complete transcription package, according to the company, and includes the DigtaFootPedal 538 USB foot control, the DigtaStethoclip 518 USB headphones and the DigtaSoft PC software.
All packages are available now with prices ranging from $263 for the DigtaTranscription Starter Kit to $623 for the DigtaDesktop Starter Kit.
