HIMSS names chair, vice chair of EMEA council
The Healthcare Informatics Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) governing council has elected its chair and vice chair for the 2007-2008 term.
Petra Wilson, a director for public sector healthcare in Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), has been elected chair of the HIMSS EMEA governing council. Dr. Christopher Nolan from the Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland was appointed vice chair. Both were unanimously elected by the HIMSS EMEA governing council earlier this month and will serve until June 30, 2008.
