Hirsch to lead clinical trials at Good Samaritan
Dr. Cary Hirsch, co-director of the cardiac catheterization lab at the Active International Cardiovascular Institute at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y., has been appointed to the newly-created position of medical director for clinical trials. In the new leadership position, Hirsch will spearhead a number of initiatives including leading clinical trials, Good Samaritan said.

Hirsch, an interventional cardiologist, came to Good Samaritan Hospital from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., where he directed the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Prior to that, he was an attending physician at a number of New York City metropolitan area hospitals, including Valley, St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Anthony's Community Hospital and Nyack Hospital. He completed his internship and residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.
