The U.S. FDA has given market clearance the Oasis MRI system, a new line of MRI products from the diagnostic imaging equipment provider Hitachi Medical Systems America.

According to the Twinsburg, Ohio-based Hitachi America, Oasis features 1.2-Tesla vertical field magnet technology.
