Healthcare Purchasing Partners International (HPPI), an Irving, Texas-based group purchasing organization, has changed its name to Provista. The firm said the name change reflects the company's expansion of its portfolio offerings to the education market, specifically colleges and universities.

Provista customers will continue to access multi-industry purchasing power through Novation, Provista's contracting services company. This new market will provide additional contracting volume primarily in the areas of food, facilities, and medical supplies used in campus clinics or sports medicine, according to the company.
