IBA to open PET radiopharmaceutical production unit in England
Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has received approval from authorities in the United Kingdom to manufacture out of its new PET radiopharmaceuticals production unit in Guildford, Surrey.
The new facility is the latest addition to the IBA distribution network, which includes 36 PET radiopharmaceuticals production centers, the Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based IBA said.
After Brussels (Belgium), Udine (Italy) and Dinnington (U.K.); Guildford is the fourth PET radiopharmaceuticals production facility opened by IBA in Europe in the last 12 months, bringing the number of operational European centers to 18, according to the company.
