IBA, TomoTherapy ink supplier agreement
IBA Dosimetry, a division of Ion Beam Applications (IBA), has signed a three-year agreement with TomoTherapy to supply Helical Dosimetry, a new QA product comprised of a new 2D Digital IMRT MatriXX design and a new Plastic Water Phantom for use with TomoTherapy’s Hi·Art treatment system.
The Belgium-based IBA said that TomoTherapy customers can use its Helical Dosimetry to digitally validate a dose delivered to the patient.
Under the terms of the agreement, IBA’s Helical Dosimetry product will be sold with new TomoTherapy Hi·Art treatment systems. IBA will also promote and sell the Helical Dosimetry solution to the existing the Madison, Wis.-based TomoTherapy customer base.
