iCRco showcases True Flat Scan Path on new product line
iCRco demonstrated its True Flat Scan Path technology for a new line of CR systems at the 93rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last month.
The scanning technique enables very fast scanning and erasing of CR cassettes in one step, the company says. Delicate CR plates are encapsulated inside the iCRco digital cassettes and the plate is read without any contact to the scan head. This touchless reading technique guarantees that plates will last a lifetime, and image quality will never change over time, according to iCRco.
The system is a sealed scanning CR system that generates high-resolution and superior quality images, fully processed and delivered to a review station in 30 seconds. This new system can be configured to wirelessly transmit an image over an internal network or internet connection and it can work over standard network connections.
