IDC exhibiting new third-generation DR technology
CHICAGO, Nov. 25—Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) this week is exhibiting its newly released X-Series technology, product line and latest software developments at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago.

The new X-Series CCD-based imaging detectors: X3G, X3C, and X4C are digital alternatives to film-based x-ray, and the product line is tiered, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based IDC.

The company also said its new technology provides higher sensitivity and amplified range; anti-blooming for image quality, reduced distortion and low noise; lateral overflow drain to eliminate saturation artifacts; and enhanced soft tissue imaging.

The X-Series has been installed in the United States, Canada, China, Korea and most recently in Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela.
