NextNine, a global provider of proactive, automated, remote service and support solutions for business-critical systems, and IDX (which was recently acquired by GE Healthcare), has announced that IDX Imagecast has picked NextNine Service Automation (NSA) software to build upon its radiology information system RIS support, according to a release.

NSA software enables healthcare information technology providers to support customers for HIPAA compliance and 21 CFR Part 11 via functionality such as proactive monitoring, self-healing and one-to-many software distribution. NSA also aids business-critical systems through a proactive, preventive approach to service. Also, the software provides scalable, secure remote access and remote diagnostics capabilities.
