IHHI, Broadlane extend supplier agreement
Integrated Healthcare Holdings (IHHI) will maintain its exclusive relationship with Broadlane, which will allow IHHI to access Broadlane's group purchasing organization (GPO) portfolio of consumable supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and purchased services.
The Dallas-based IHHI said the portfolio helps manage its approximate $52 million in annual spending for the four hospitals in Orange County, Calif., which the company owns and operates.
IHHI also said it will continue to utilize Broadlane’s item master maintenance and proprietary technology, OnRamp (Broadlane’s client portal).
Under the new agreement, IHHI said it will add clinical consulting to its list of services provided by Broadlane. Specifically, Broadlane said it will implement its Medication Use Management program in IHHI facilities, which uses evidence-based medicine standards to support therapies that maintain or improve clinical outcomes, the company said.
