Imaging3 to showcase new scanner
Imaging3, a developer of medical imaging devices, plans to introduce the production model of its Dominion Vi Scanner at the RSNA scientific conference in Chicago next month.

The device utilizes high-resolution photo-fluoroscopy to produce three-dimensional medical diagnostic images in real-time and features load bearing CT capabilities and 3D orthographic perspective interface display, according to Dean James, chairman and CEO of the Burbank, Calif.-based Imaging3.

“We engineered the Dominion Vi Scanner to be able to tilt and elevate parallel to the floor allowing patients to be scanned while standing, allowing imaging of the patient with their body weight and gravity applying load bearing weight to their anatomy,” James added.
