Imaging3 Inc. this week announced its upcoming product, The Dominion. The mobile, multi-functional device has considerably potential for application in sports medicine, the company said.

The Dominion is designed to provide real-time 3D imaging to allow doctors to view injuries with improved clarity and detail, and thus lead to a faster and more accurate diagnosis of the injury.

And the company said that it is pricing the system at less than current imaging modalities to open up access within the sports medicine environment. The company also believes these savings will allow hospitals, imaging centers and even doctors' offices the capability of imaging at the point of service.
