Medical Imaging System provider Imalux, based in Cleveland, has gotten the OK from Australian and New Zealand regulators to market its systems in the two countries.

The equipment dealer will market its Niris imaging system, which is able to create 2-D, cross-section images of human tissue using a near-infrared light, according to Imalux.
   
The company also has plans to make the system available to Australian dermatologists because of the high incidence of skin cancer in the region, the company said.
