IMIX Americas launches DR products at ECR 2008
IMIX Americas, a provider of digital radiography (DR) systems, will launch the IMIX insight line of DR products for the European market at the 2008 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) meeting in Vienna, held March 7-11.
The IMIX insight PanoRAD is a universal, full-function DR system featuring a small footprint and stand design.
The PanoRAD is ideal for use in imaging centers and clinics with ceiling height restrictions since the system easily fits in work areas with 8-foot ceilings compared with 9-foot requirements for other systems, said Sigrid Smitt-Jeppesen, president and chief executive officer of IMIX Americas.
The product line also includes the IMIX insight NovoRAD, which includes a ceiling-mounted tube support, fixed four-way floating tabletop, upright stand and a straight-arm stand specifically designed for the orthopedic market.
